Learn about Near's candidate assessment process and how we use a tailored candidate profile and screening session to ensure we find the best candidates for your job openings.
When you are looking for the best candidates to fill a job opening, it's important to have a hiring process that is tailored to your needs. At Near, we understand that each company has unique requirements, and that's why we use a tailored candidate profile and screening session to ensure we find the best candidates for your job openings.
Candidate Profile
To assess candidates, we first define a candidate profile that is tailored to the particular open position in your company. We look at hard and soft skills, education, and prior work experience, among many other characteristics that would render a candidate "ideal" for the role. Once the candidate profile is ready, we start sourcing talents that meet the criteria we've identified.
Screening Session
Once we've identified potential candidates, we have a screening session with them, via a video call, where we validate the candidate profile and assess their English communication skills.
During the screening session, we ask questions that are relevant to the specific job opening and assess how well the candidate matches the profile we've developed. We also evaluate the candidate's communication skills, which are a critical factor in ensuring they will be successful in the role. If needed, we can also send additional assessments to candidates to help further evaluate their skills and qualifications.
